Its effects are based on stopping the process of bacteria growth helping the immune system to fight off the infection. This medicine comes in the form of oral suspension and tablet. It is supposed to be taken for up to 5 days depending on what caused your condition. Continue taking this drug for as long as your health care provider recommended as feeling better does not mean your infection has been completely treated.
